After a great campaign, England will be hoping to book their spot in the semi-finals. However, first they'll have to see off Norway. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Norway vs. England.

Current form: Norway vs England

England come into this game still unbeaten so far at this summer's World Cup, but their victory in their round of 16 tie against Cameroon came at a high price. In a battle between the three Lionesses and the Indomitable Lionesses, it became readily apparent that Cameroon were keen on trying to win by whatever means necessary - including nasty fouls and disrupting the game by protesting every single VAR call. It's not something many fans were used to seeing, especially not in the women's game, but Phil Neville's ladies managed to keep their cool and earned a well-deserved 3-0 victory to get to the quarter-finals for the second straight tournament.

England were just a handful of sides to pick up a perfect nine points out of nine, and with their win over Cameroon, they still have a perfect 100 per cent winning record. Along the way, they have also shown great defensive solidarity in addition to attacking flair, with Scotland being the only team that has managed to score against them thus far.

2015 saw England record their highest ever finish at this competition as they ended up in a very impressive third spot. It goes without saying that the Three Lionesses will be hoping to go one step further and hopefully make it to the final, but first they will have to find a way past a very stubborn opponent - Norway.

As for Norway, fatigue could be an issue. The Grasshoppers had to play a full 120 minutes and then go to penalties in order to beat Australia in a very tense tactical battle. However, they will be determined to continue their journey so far as the only blemish on an otherwise solid record was losing to hosts France on matchday two.

The Grasshoppers, however, have not made it to the final four since 2007. In 2011, they were dumped out early as they failed to progress past their group, and in the last edition, were knocked out at the round of 16. Still, Martin Sjogren's side have shown great improvement recently, notably recovering from a horrible showing at the 2017 EURO tournament - where they failed to score a single goal - to top their World Cup qualifying group.

Team news: Norway vs England

Norway: No major injury concerns for Martin Sjogren ahead of this game - so he will be able to deploy his strongest starting XI against England.

England: Captain Steph Houghton is a major doubt for this game due to an ankle injury sustained as a result of a vicious tackle by Cameroon in the round of 16. In addition, Millie Bright could also miss out after she was unable to take part in training due to illness.
