After a comfortable win in the Carabao Cup midweek, Chelsea will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League as they travel to face West Brom.

Hosts West Brom are still searching for their first victory of the season after a difficult start that has seen them ship a whopping eight goals in just two games. The Baggies were no match for Leicester as the Foxes eased to a 3-0 win on opening day, and despite scoring two goals, it wasn't enough to prevent them from slumping to a 5-2 defeat to Everton. As a result, they currently sit bottom of the table, and will be welcoming an opponent eager to get back on track after a disappointing 2-0 reversal against reigning champs Liverpool.

Chelsea bounced back from that defeat by crushing Championship side Barnsley 6-0 in their midweek Carabao Cup tie. New signing Kai Havertz was the star of the show as he netted his first-ever hat-trick for the Blues, while chipping in with an assist, and now that he's finally opened his account, the German international will be certainly hoping to grab his first Premier League goal this weekend. The same can be said for fellow German international Timo Werner, who will be looking to get back into the starting XI after being left on the bench in lieu of Tammy Abraham.

The Blues presently find themselves just outside the top ten, but will certainly move up a few slots should they earn what will be their second road win of the nascent campaign.

West Brom: On-loan midfielder Conor Gallagher will not be able to feature in this match as it's being played against his parent club, Chelsea. Meanwhile, veteran defender Branislav Ivanovic is not yet fully match fit so will not be able to take on his former teammats when the Blues come to town. Finally, manager Bilic will have to make do without Kieran Gibbs, who's banned after being sent off against Everton last weekend.

Chelsea: Both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are still out for the visitors due to hamstring and knee injuries respectively. And fans will have to wait a bit longer to see new shot-stopper Edouard Mendy make his debut after his recent signing. However, this game could see veteran defender Thiago Silva make his debut in the heart of Lampard's back line.
