The Nerrazzuri has agreed 'in principle' to secure the service of the Blues' midfielder.

Inter Milan is on the verge of completing the signing of Chelsea's Victor Moses, multiple reports from Italy have confirmed. The Nigerian international who is currently on loan at Fenerbahce is expected to arrive in Italy on Monday evening ahead of a medical on Tuesday.

Last week, Inter Milan chief executive Beppe Marrota confirmed his side's interest in Moses with the player being tipped as one among three potential arrivals expected at the club this month. The midfielder's former teammate Olivier Giroud and Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen are the other names heavily linked with a move.

Despite ranking as one of the top performers in a make-shift position as a wing-back during Antonio Conte's stint with Chelsea, a dip in form saw the 29-year-old lose his spot under Maurizio Sarri. Ultimately, the former academy graduate was shipped off to Turkish league side Fenerbahce in an 18-month loan deal back in January 2019.

While Moses has not exactly hit the ground running in Istanbul, Conte maintains that he could be a valuable addition to his new-look Inter Milan set-up. According to the club's sporting director Piero Ausilio who spoke to Sky Sport about the player's arrival, all indications point at a deal being completed in the coming days.

"There are evaluations being made in these moments," he stated.

"There is a principle agreement with Chelsea who are very willing."

Victor Moses is expected to first join the Guiseppe Meaza outfit on loan while the club could retain the option to buy the Nigerian for 10 million euros at the end of the season.
