Here is a comprehensive piece gathering information on the 2020 SheBelieves Cup's broadcast rights holders, broadcasting channels, fixtures, participating teams' rosters and a throwback on this Women's Soccer tournament's history.

What is the SheBelieves Cup?

The SheBelieves movement is a campaign that aims to inspire and encourage girls and young women to follow their dreams and accomplish their goals whether it be in sports or not. The campaign was created and developed by the U.S. Women's National Team players before the 2015 Women's World Cup and has grown into a bond between the team and fans. The SheBelieves Cup was founded in 2016 and showcases four of the world's most rated national teams every year in the U.S. in order to shine the spotlight on role models and exhibit their accomplishments both on and off the field.

Who are the SheBelieves Cup winners in history?

SheBelieves Cup 2016 - United States

The host nation did not fail to win the first edition of the SheBelieves Cup hosted in Boca Raton, Nashville, and Tampa. The USWNT came on top by defeating England, France and Germany, all by minimal difference. Striker Alex Morgan scored the most goals with two.

SheBelieves Cup 2017 - France

The French lifted the second edition of the cup in 2017 hosted in Chester, Harrison, and Washington D.C. Les Bleues defeated England, then drew Germany and demolished the U.S. 3-0 to win the tournament. France's Camille Abily was the top scorer of the competition with two goals.

SheBelieves Cup 2018 - United States

The USWNT came back strong after finishing dead last the prior year. This time, the cities that hosted the competition were Columbus, Ohio, Harrison, and Orlando. The Americans won it despite only scoring three goals in three matches against England, France and Germany. Two wins and one draw were enough to coronate Team USA. England's Ellen White and France's Eugenie Le Sommer were the top scorers each tallying two goals.

SheBelieves Cup 2019 - England

England became the third nation to win the SheBelieves Cup in 2019. The cup was hosted in Chester, Nashville, and Tampa. The Lionesses defeated Brazil and Japan before an exciting 2-2 draw with the USWNT was enough to be declared champions. This time around, the competition had four players tied for top goalscorer with two goals – Beth Mead from England, Meagan Rapinoe and Tobin Heath from the U.S., and Yuka Momiki from Japan.

What teams are participating in the 2020 SheBelieves Cup?

England - FIFA Ranking: 6th

The titleholders are back in this mini "friendly" tournament for a fourth consecutive year after a fourth-place finish in France 2019. Under Phil Neville, the Lionesses have played some quality football. With the likes of Ellen White, Lucy Bronze, Jill Scott, Nikita Parris and Steph Houghton, amongst others, they can be volatile against any opponent. As of late, England hasn't performed to its full potential losing friendlies to Brazil, Germany and Norway. This group of Englishwomen will look to use this tournament as a means to get back on track for Tokyo 2020.

Japan - FIFA Ranking: 10th

Japan will participate in the SheBelieves Cup once more and will look to better its third-place finish. The Nadeshiko reached the Women's World Cup finals in 2011 and 2015 but was cut short in 2019 by the Netherlands. Nevertheless, the Japanese are ready for the tournament after defeating Asian neighboring nations China Taipei, China and South Korea. Japan will use the SheBelieves Cup as preparation for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Spain - FIFA Ranking: 13th

Spain becomes the sixth nation to feature in a SheBelieves Cup and the first in tournament history to be placed outside of the top 10 in FIFA Rankings. La Roja had a fantastic display in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France last summer and will take on this opportunity to compete against some of the best nations in the world. After losing to the USWNT on the Round of 16, the Spaniards proceeded to lose a friendly to France, 2-0. Nonetheless, Spain is currently spearheading its UEFA Women's Championship group.

USWNT - FIFA Ranking: 1st

The United States Women's National Team has entered each of the SheBelieves Cups as number one in the world and they do so again this year. This will be an opportunity for Vlatko Andonovski, who guided the U.S. to victory at the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying tournament, to make final decisions as to which players to pick or omit from his 2020 Olympic Women's Soccer roster.
