The Blaugrana faces an away test vs Slavia Praha on Matchday 3. Check out our match preview for more info.

What is the form of Slavia Praha compared to Barcelona?

The 2-0 loss to Dortmund on Matchday 2 of the Champions League is the only time Slavia Praha failed to pick up all three points in their last six games. Furthermore, the Czech Republic outfit have won all but two of their 13 games in their domestic league and in those two games in which they failed to win, they picked up draws.

After failing to win four of their first six games in the season, Barcelona have now turned things around. The Blaugrana have now won their last five games in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and keeping three clean sheets, two of which came in their last two games.

Team news

Given that El Clasico has been delayed, Valverde will have no need to rest players for the weekend. As a result, Barcelona could field a strong lineup. Messi has shaken off the injury woes that kept him sidelined during the start of the season and now has two goals and two assists under his belt.

He will likely be partnered by Griezmann and Suarez, with the attacking trio all scoring in the same game for the first time in the 3-0 win over Eibar. Pique should make his return to the lineup, as well as Semedo.

Slavia Praha do not have the luxury to rest players in this game. Despite the home advantage, they are the underdogs in this tie and must pull of a miracle in order to overcome the Blaugrana. As a result, Nicolae Stanciu and Vladimir Coufal are destined to return to the lineup.
