The French manager is currently facing massive criticism after the club's poor start of the season, which was confirmed with Wednesday's loss.

If only Zidane could have identified that problem before the start of the game...

The start of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League was not what Real Madrid fans were expecting, and coach Zinedine Zidane had to face the music right after their 3-0 loss against PSG.

Los Blancos were undeniably the favorites to win this game, especially since Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani were out due to their respective injuries. Even so, their 3-0 win was surprising enough to set off all the alarms inside the Spanish giants' locker room.

The game concluded with Real Madrid not being able to fire a single shot on goal, but according to Zidane, there was another major problem for his team at Parc Des Princes.

"The first fifteen minutes were good, but they beat us in midfield and everything went sideways after that."

"PSG surpassed us in almost every area - in the game and the center of the park. What bothers me the most was our intensity at this stage of the competition. Normally we create many goal scoring occasions and today it has not been possible," was what Zidane said.

Los Blancos are currently ranked last in Group A of the competition. The club has never concluded a UEFA Champions League Group Stage in first place when Zidane has been at the helm, and judging by this performance, it seems like the club needs to get worried about getting to the KO stage...
