The Turin club has the Blues manager on its shortlist.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has emerged as a surprise candidate to replace Massimiliano Allegri as Juventus manager. The Italian manager's future with the Blues has been in doubt for some time now and he is said to be in the frame for the Bianconeri.

Despite finishing third in the Premier League, reaching the EFL Cup Final and securing a Europa League Final qualification with Chelsea, recent reports have stated that Sarri will most likely be shown the exit door this summer. In his place, the Blues will look to appoint club legend and current Derby County manager Frank Lampard.

According to Daily Mail, Juventus is considering the possibility of bringing the former Napoli manager back to the Serie A. Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino was said to be among the frontrunners for the job but the idea of paying millions in compensation to his current club seems unappealing to the Old Ladies.

Furthermore, a return for Antonio Conte does not look like a possibility as the Italian manager is thought to have a contract in place to manage Inter Milan next season. A move for Pep Guardiola is also off the table with the Spanish manager committing his future to Manchester City having recently won the domestic double.

As per Daily Mail, Sarri now looks like the most likely option for Juventus amid claims that Cristiano Ronaldo fancies the idea of reuniting with Jose Mourinho in Turin.
