Perú will get to this game on a high, having won their first game in 2019 against Paraguay. That win ended a three-game winless streak, giving them an ego boost for this match and for the upcoming Copa América. It was just the second win for Gareca's men since the end of the FIFA World Cup.

Christian Cueva - This talented midfielder who plays for Santos in Brazil is one of the main references for coach Gareca, especially since Paolo Guerrero is not around.
