As for Argentina, they head into this tie on the back of their 3-1 loss to Venezuela. Albeit an embarrassing one, that was the only their second loss since being eliminated from the World Cup by France. That only other loss came at the hands of South American rival Brazil, losing 1-0.

A clash with Morocco should be a straight-forward win for the two-time World Cup champion on paper but can anyone put it past Argentina to do bad? Morocco did hand Portugal and Spain a hard time at the 2018 World Cup, showing that they can hold their own against superior opposition, hinting that they could surprise La Albiceleste.

And remember, there will be no Lionel Messi around to help. The Barcelona icon made his return to the national side in their previous friendly, but that much-awaited game ended in an awful 3-1 loss. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner picked up an injury in that game and has now returned to Spain, leaving Lionel Scaloni short on big-name players.
