Les Parisiens' chances of landing a deal seem slim in this case due to the player's interests.

Paris Saint Germain is searching for Adrien Rabiot's replacement, but their first transfer target is not interested in playing for them.

According to a report by French website Le10Sport, Les Parisiens offered quite a bit of money to try and lure N'Golo Kanté away from Stamford Bridge, but they have run into two major speedbumps: the player's reluctance to play for them, and Chelsea's massive asking price.

The French site reveals that Kanté thanked PSG for their interest, but he intends to keep playing away from Ligue 1 for as long as possible. Furthermore, the holding midfielder admitted that if he chose to leave Chelsea, he would only push for a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Kante's contract with Chelsea runs until the end of the 2022-23 season, which gives the Blues a chance to name their asking price. According to Le10Sport, Chelsea asked PSG for over $110M to begin any negotiations. Added to that, Kanté earns over $325m a week with the Blues, which should make possible suitors think twice about pursuing his signing.
