The Spanish tactician revealed the names of those he would want around to help ease all problems between the first team and the front office.

Xavi came close to becoming Barcelona's coach back in January, but things did not turn out to be how he and the Blaugrana hierarchy wanted. Now, almost three months after that, the former midfielder has revealed his desire to coach Barcelona, and he named how he would like to replace some of the current staff members with some of his close ones who can also be considered as Blaugrana legends.

Al-Sadd's tactician spoke to La Vanguardia, and while describing the type of staff he'd like around him, he ended up aiming a dig at Eric Abidal, who tried to sign him back in January and has gotten into a war of words against some of the team's most prominent players.

"I'd love to work with the people I can trust, those who are loyal and act properly. I don't want a toxic person close to the dressing room. I'm talking about Carles Puyol, former Barca captain, and Jordi Cruyff, a great negotiatior and a man who has been a sporting director. They are, as me, team players, and I don't want to make all decisions by myself,"Xavi said.

Xavi's dig at Abidal did not stop there, since he repeated the same words when speaking about that position and while discussing the handling of the medical department.

"There can't be anyone negative or toxic close or inside the locker room, everything has to fit. I'd love to go in there with those I trust to create a good team. I have nothing against anyone, I don't have a bad relationship with Bartomeu, I get along fine with Laporta, and I can call Victor Font a friend. I will support anyone who wants the best for Barcelona," Xavi added.

Last, but not least, Xavi discussed the names of the players he would add to Los Culés' current roster, who he referred to as the best in the world.

"There's a great portion of the team which I believe it is extraordinary. Starting with the goalie, who I believe is the best in the world. Jordi Alba is the best left back in the world, joined by Piqué, the best center back in the business. Busquets is the best defensive midfielder in the world, and Messi is the best player in history. Add Suárez, De Jong and Arthur, and you have a squad to dominate for the next ten years. I'd sign a few wingers, such as Neymar, and there are some good options, such as Sancho or Serge Gnabry," Xavi concluded.
