FIFA released their final ranking for 2019 and it brought great news for the likes of Brazil, Belgium, and Chile just to name a few.

The final FIFA Women’s World Rankings in 2019 are out and it brings great news for Brazil. After dropping out of the top 10 back in September for the first time in their history, the South American giants have made an immediate return just in time for 2020.

As Canarinhas were rewarded for their recent wins over England and Canada, helping them climb back into the top 10 before the year ends. They currently occupy the 9th spot, trading places with Korea DPR who now sit in 11th.

As for USA, they remain in top spot, finishing the year as the world’s number one ranked women’s side. The Lionesses have dropped one spot while Australia and Canada have gone up and fallen down one rank respectively in the top 10.

Kenya and Congo DR both climbed up 10 spots to 133 and 108 respectively after beating African powerhouses Ghana and Cameroon. Meanwhile, Belgium (17th) and Chile (36) have reached new highs. Here are the top 10 nations in the world and the top five of each confederation.
