It's an all-Blues derby as Everton and Chelsea lock horns on Saturday, December 7th. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Everton vs Chelsea.

Preview: Everton vs Chelsea

Everton come into this match off the back of a heavy 5-2 defeat to cross-town rivals Liverpool in the midweek Merseyside Derby clash. That was their third straight league loss, after suffering a shock 2-0 defeat to fellow relegation candidates Norwich and a 2-1 reversal against a high-flying Leicester City who have taken the league by storm this season. As a result, the team opted to join the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal and sack their manager, with Marco Silva making way for caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson, and currently sit in a very troubling 18th spot ahead of welcoming Chelsea.

The "other" Blues, meanwhile, aren't exactly suffering from a case of the blues at the moment. After a slight wobble, which saw Frank Lampard's side lose back to back games against Manchester City, and surprisingly, West Ham, they rebounded by defeating Aston Villa in their midweek contest to right the wobbly ship, and now find themselves just three points behind third-placed Manchester City heading into this match.

However, Everton do have a solid track record when it comes to playing Chelsea. The Blues have failed to score in their last three league games versus Everton, while also failing to win those matches as well. In addition, the Toffees have won six of their last ten home league fixtures against Chelsea, but will be taking on another side while sitting in the drop zone in December for the first time in 16 years.
