After years of facing European teams in their mid-season clash, MLS authorities have decided to change things a bit with this new idea.
What started out as a rumor has been confirmed today, as the MLS has granted Los Angeles the rights to host the 2020 All-Star game at Banc of California Stadium. Furthermore, the rival for this game has been confirmed, and this time, a team from the finest players in Liga MX will be put together to face the MLS side.
The news was confirmed in a press conference and with a tweet posted by the MLS.
