Hosts France will look to wrap up a perfect group stage campaign as they take on Nigeria. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Nigeria vs. France.

Current form: Nigeria vs France

Nigeria ended up losing to Norway in their group stage opener, but the Super Falcons rebounded on matchday two by beating South Korea to earn their first three points. As such, they are joint-tied on points with Norway, and could potentially leap-frog the Scandinavians if they are able to pull off a shock result against hosts France.

Obviously, that will be much easier said than done. Nigeria have less-than-fond memories of playing France, who handed them their joint-worst defeat only last year by thrashing them 8-0 in a friendly. However, Thomas Dennerby's ladies have been in excellent form since the start of 2019. Until their 3-0 loss to Norway, the Super Falcons had won their last seven games in a row, and as noted before, beat South Korea 2-0 to get back on track after their heavy defeat.

That being said, Les Bleues have been in stunning form, and kicked off their World Cup journey by cruising to a 4-0 victory over South Korea, and followed that up with a 2-1 result against fellow European side Norway. Corinne Diacre's side have lost just once in the current year - a 1-0 reversal against Germany - and come into this game having won their last seven consecutive matches. With the backing of the home crowd, coupled with their superior record against Nigeria, there is no doubt that France are the heavy favorites to win this match and make it nine points out of nine in Group A.
