The UEFA Women's Euro Qualifying refers to the set of matches played to determine the teams that will feature in the UEFA Women's Euro. It is run by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the governing body of football in Europe.
The UEFA Women's Euro Qualifying begins with 47 teams out of 54 UEFA member national teams competing for 15 places alongside the host of the finals. The teams are drawn into nine groups: two groups of six teams and seven groups of five teams.
The sides play each other in the home-and-away round-robin format. In the qualifying group stage, all teams are ranked according to points accumulated (three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss).
In the end, the nine teams that top the groups and the three best runners-up qualify directly for the final tournament alongside the host nation. The remaining six runners-up advance to the play-offs to compete for the three slots left in the 16-team finals.
