The USMNT will continue its preparations for the Concacaf Nations League Final Four in June, the Gold Cup in July and the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying with a European trip in late-March that features two matches.
The first of the two friendlies will be played on Thursday, March 25, at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Austria, where the USA is set to face Concacaf rivals Jamaica. Live coverage of the game will be available on ESPN2 (TV), TUDN (TV) and UniMas (online stream).
The second of the two matches will take place on Monday, March 29, at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the USMNT will play the hosts. Live coverage of the game will be available on FOX (TV), TUDN and UniMas.
Most of the world will be competing in World Cup Qualifying while the U.S. men's national team and the Reggae Boyz play their game in late March. The reason why is because both sides received byes to the last round of the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers due to their ranking in the region.
USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter will have the opportunity to call in players based in the U.S. or abroad, which has not been the case in the last few national team camps.
USMNT vs. Jamaica
U.S. Soccer will be returning to Austria, where they defeated Panama 6-2 in a friendly last November, to face a familiar Reggae Boyz team. The fixture will serve as the 27th game played between both nations since their first-ever meeting in 1988. The USA holds the lead in the series with a 16-3-8 overall record.
The game will serve as practice for the upcoming three international tournaments that both teams will be participating in.
