Liga MX teams have started to show what they can do, and Matchday 3 of the Guard1anes 2020 tournament may bring excitement to all those fans watching at home.
The league's plans to start all matchdays on Thursdays will finally become a reality after two weeks in which teams were forced to re-schedule their games for health issues. Even so, all the attention will be attracted by one game on Friday and two more on Saturday. Why? Because América, Cruz Azul, and defending champions Monterrey will be involved in those games.
Pumas, the other team with a perfect record, will be putting an end to Matchday 3 on Sunday in one of the two games scheduled to be played on that day. It will be interesting to see all teams dealing with this weekend's games, mostly because every club will have to keep in mind that they will be playing one more game from Tuesday to Thursday.

Necaxa vs América
The red and white side has had a disappointing start of the season, but somehow they have always managed to give América a good fight. Friday's clash between Los Rayos and Miguel Herrera's men could be one of those matches, especially if we consider that Necaxa could strip América's unbeaten record if they can come up with a good performance.
