The Gunners' struggles continued at the London Stadium on Monday night.

Arsenal's woes on and off the field of play are refusing to die down and Monday's Premier League clash with city rivals West Ham brought the side more to ponder over. The Gunners were made to finish the night's encounter without first-choice full-backs Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin, the former picking up an injury in the first half while the latter was ruled out of action during the warm-up session.

Bellerin, who has been striving to reestablish himself in the side after a lengthy spell on the sideline with a cruciate knee ligament injury, suffered a suspected hamstring injury in in the brief preparatory session inside the London Stadium. Interim boss Freddie Ljungberg was immediately prompted to replace the Spanish midfielder with Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the starting line-up.

Prior to conceding Angelo Ogbonna's opener for the Hammers in the 38th minute, summer-signing Kieran Tierney added to the Gunners' headache, picking up a shoulder injury in the 29th minute. The former Celtic star fell awkwardly in his side's penalty area and immediately gestured to the dugout to be substituted.

With both players having recently returned from injuries, there are growing concerns among the club's fanbase as they were eager to see both players help put the side back on track. Needless to say, Arsenal did not feel the absence of the pair much with second-half goals by Martinelli, Pepe and Aubameyang guiding the club to its first Premiership win since the sack of Unai Emery.
