The Argentine ace will get to his new team as a free agent following his successful seven-year run with Paris Saint-Germain.

One of the most talented players in Europe who is out of a contract might be closing in on his new destination. In a recent interview, Angel Di María revealed the state of his negotiations with some of the top European clubs that have made inquiries for his services, naming Juventus specifically as his potential destination.

Speaking to ESPN Argentina, "El Fideo" revealed that he is still considering offers from top teams such as Juventus and Barcelona, but right now, the player decided to see the end of his contract and spend some time off with his family before making a decision.

"Juventus is the biggest club in Italy and one of the teams that has shown interest in my services. I am thinking things over right now, but my main focus is to spend some quality time with my family during this resting period," Di Maria stated.

Added to Juventus' interest, Roma have also been named as a potential landing spot for the Argentine. Nevertheless, Di Maria was quite emphatic when he talked about the giallorossi's chances of hiring him.

"No, I'm simply not interested," Di María responded when the journalist pointed at a Roma jersey he was wearing.

Juventus had been said to have pulled the plug on their interest to hire Di Maria, but these words by the footballer hint that the bianconeri are his main option to continue playing in Europe before he returns to his boyhood club, Rosario Central, where he intends to hang his boots for good.
