The German top-flight continues with a host of must-watch games. Keep track of all of them with this detailed guide.

The 2021-22 Bundesliga season has given fans quite a few thrills, with Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz giving Bayern quite a run for their money and making things complicated for Julian Nagelsmann's men. Things could keep going like that during this weekend, as all of the teams mentioned previously try to keep their form to challenge the defending champions.

Sunday may hold the best games for fans to watch, including the one that will feature the league leaders at home. As for Bayern, their game against a recently promoted team could either be a nightmare or a goalscoring fiesta, but we will only know what goes down once the game kicks off.

Here's how things are shaping up in the Bundesliga ahead of this weekend's matches.

Bundesliga standings prior to Matchday 5

Wolfsburg are the surprising leaders after four weeks of action, but that does not mean that they are the only unbeaten team in the German top-tier category. Bayern, Freiburg, and Union Berlin complete that list of teams and will try to make that status count when they face their clashes this weekend. Other teams with only one loss such as Dortmund and Mainz will also try to keep their consistent performances in their games set to take place during the next few days to keep themselves close to the leaders.

Top games to watch

Bayern München vs Bochum - The defending champions are second behind Wolfsburg, and while their match against Bochum could seem easy, Die Unabsteigbaren have been able to collect two draws in their last six trips to Bayern's ground. Will this be their time to win their first clash at Allianz Arena?

Borussia Dortmund vs Union Berlin - The black and yellow crew are fresh off a convincing win in the UEFA Champions League, and being the joint-top scorers in the Bundesliga, their clash against the unbeaten Union Berlin should be fun to witness. The Berlin-based team has only conceded four goals this season, and it will be interesting to see if they are capable of holding back Erling Haaland this time around.

Wolfsburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt - The league leaders host Eintracht Frankfurt looking for their fifth win in a row, but facing former coach Olivier Glasners should add a bit of spice to this game. Wolfsburg's defensive form has been quite impressive (only one goal conceded), but they should beware of Frankfurt's need to win their first match of the season before they can think they are in for an easy outing this Sunday.
