The league leaders will aim to continue their excellent run in La Liga when they welcome a struggling Sevilla side to Camp Nou.

Barcelona and Sevilla face off on Sunday in what promises to be another exciting match in this game week. The host comes into the match in good form, having won their last nine games in all competitions and currently sitting in first place in La Liga. On the other hand, Sevilla has had a bit of a mixed run of form, winning three and losing two of their last five matches in across all competitions, while sitting in 14th place in the league table.

For Barcelona, this is another opportunity to extend to potentially extend their lead. Despite lacking enough firepower in the attack, Xavi's men are yet to put a foot wrong since the season resumed after the World Cup break, winning four and drawing just one of the five league matches played.

The Blaugrana will go into the weekend's meeting with Sevilla having gotten the better of another team from Seville in Real Betis. The midweek's clash with the Green and Whites ended with the Catalans registering a 2-1 away win.

For Sevilla, Sunday's trip to Camp Nou should offer them the chance to target three successive wins in the league for the first time this season. The Rojiblancos come into the game on the back of an emphatic 3-0 victory over Elche after beating Cadiz 1-0 previously. The results have been able to lift Sampaoli's side from the relegation zone to 14th position in the league, and they will be eager to build on this.
