Portugal may not have Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch, but the team managed to find the back of the net two times and even make some history while at it.

The Selecao scored a couple of goals with Gonçalo and Pepe being right at the center of the action, giving Portuguese supporters a chance to celebrate regardless of the absence of the team's star.

Speaking about Pepe, the footballer was able to score with a header following a well taken corner. Surprisingly, the former Real Madrid ace was found all alone inside the box to drill his attempt right past Yann Sommer, in what turned out to be the footballer's eighth goal for his national team.
