The activity in the Guard1anes 2021 is now in full motion, and the games scheduled for this week may give us a good idea on how things could work for all those involved in the tournament.
Matchday 3 began on Thursday with Atlético San Luis' 3-1 win over Guadalajara, and there are six more games to be played during the weekend, starting on Friday night. Unfortunately, there were two postponed matches due to COVID-19 outbreaks within Monterrey and América's ranks. Hence, their respective games against León and Juárez were scheduled for a later date.

Matchday 3 will see three games taking center-stage. First off, the clash between Mazatlán and Santos, who entered a war of words via Twitter sparked by Mazatlán's social media manager. If the game is as entertaing as the social media clash, then we will be in for a treat.
Saturday's only game will be quite interesting to watch, as Atlas are desperate to earn points to avoid relegation. On the other hand, Tigres will want to bounce back from an unexpected loss against Santos last time out. If they want to do so, they will have to do it without coach "Tuca" Ferretti on the bench due to a one-match ban.
Last, but not least, Monday's game will feature Pachuca and Cruz Azul, with the latter trying to end a hoodoo that has seen them lose their last four games in all comps. Pachuca have drawn both of their games this season, and a win here would surely do wonders for a team that has the right tools to shine.
