The battle to avoid the drop
As things stand, Paderborn sit dead last in the table, with 19 points, and unless they turn things around, they will end up being relegated at the end of this season. Meanwhile, Mainz, Fortuna, and Werder Bremen are facing a desperate bid for survival in the top flight.
