The fixtures for the next round of the English domestic cup competition have been confirmed.

The fifth-round draw of the 2019/2020 FA Cup campaign was concluded on Monday with a number of potential top clashes tabled.

Premier League table-toppers Liverpool could possibly set up a meeting with Chelsea in the next phase of the competition should they defeat Shrewsbury in the sixth-round replay. Similarly, Manchester United who grabbed a 6-0 victory away to Tranmere Rovers on Sunday awaits the winner of the replay between Wayne Rooney's Derby County and Northampton.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side have been paired with Sheffield Wednesday but fellow Premier League counterpart Norwich City would have to wait for the winner of the replay between Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. The winner of Monday night's clash involving Bournemouth and Arsenal is scheduled to travel to Portmouth per the classified results from the draw.

Meanwhile, Bredan Rodgers' Leicester will welcome either Coventry or Birmingham whereas Sheffield United awaits a date with Reading or Cardiff. After knocking out David Moyes' West Ham in a shock 1-0 away win on Saturday, Slaven Bilic's West Brom could potentially meeting Oxford United or Newcastle.

All the matches are scheduled for next week, beginning March 3. The English FA's decision to scrap replays from the fifth round still holds and ties that drawn in the regulation period will go to extra time and, subsequently, penalties should the game fail to produce a winner after 120 minutes of football action.
