The Catalans have their eyes on some huge stars to fill the void that will be created in a few seasons.

Barcelona as set its sight on securing the signing of one among three top European strikers to replace Luis Suarez, reports from Spain have indicated. Per the claim, Los Blaugrana are in recruiting either Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford or Kylian Mbappe to succeed the Uruguayan.

Having served the Catalan outfit well since his arrival from Liverpool in 2015, Suarez is still at the peak of his powers and remains one of the integral figures in the side. However, the striker is not growing any younger and will turn 33, come January 2020.

As a result, La Liga's reigning champions are considering life without him and are apparently using this season to assess the Uruguayan. That withstanding, the team has turned its attention to scouting ideal replacements. According to Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe remains the No. 1 transfer target for Barcelona.

Despite being on the radar of the Catalans rivals Real Madrid, the 20-year-old French superstar remains contracted to Les Parisians until the summer of 2022. Nevertheless, Barca believes that a deal for the striker in 2021 remains a possibility and, as a result, will test the resolve of PSG with a mouth-watering offer.

Should a deal fail to materialise, Mundo Deportivo claims that the Spanish giants will turn their attention to signing either Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane or Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez also remains an alternative but any move for Liverpool's Roberto Firmino has been ruled out.
