What a way to celebrate 125 years!
Manchester City had a stroll against Watford. Even after their initial record for scoring five goals in less than 20 minutes, the Citizens also re-wrote the league's history books by adding three more goals to that tally in the second half.
Bernardo Silva -who scored a hat-trick-, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Riyad Mahrez, Nicolás Otamendi and Kevin De Bruyne (who scored one and handed out two assists) shaped the whopping scoreline for Pep Guardiola's men, in an evening that will be remembered by thos in attendance, especially since this is the most comfortable win for the Citizens in their 125-year history.

Even though this is not the first time in which Manchester City has scored eight goals in a top-tier game, this is indeed the first time in which they've scored such a big amount of goals without conceding.

Watford will also have reasons to remember this game, but this may not be the way they wanted to do so. This is the team's heaviest defeat in history, and if that was not enough, they have conceded fourteen goals in their last TWO meetings against Manchester City.
6 - Manchester City have scored six goals in consecutive games against Watford; this is the first time an English top-flight side has scored 6+ goals in back-to-back meetings in all competitions with another top-flight club since Chelsea v Wigan in 2010. Cricket.
