Les Parisiens did not miss the most expensive player in history during their 3-0 win on Sunday.

PSG has been preparing for life after Neymar since the start of this summer, but this major move by the team's marketing department leaves no doubt about their intentions to part ways with the striker.

The player, who had a key role in promoting the team's brand since his arrival in 2017, is no longer being used as one of the team's ambassadors.

In fact, a visit to PSG's store at Parc des Princes by UOL Esporte revealed that all items featuring Neymar's name are no longer available for purchase. The only remaining item featuring the Brazilian ace at Parc des Princes is a billboard where the footballer is showing off a pair of Nike boots.

His place as a spokesman for PSG has been taken by players such as Kylian Mbappé, Thiago Silva and even Marco Verrati.

Neymar has been pushing hard for an exit from the Ligue 1 champions all summer, with Barcelona and Real Madrid named as his potential destinations.

The team's first game of the season ended in a 3-0 win against Nimes, with fans not helping to ease the tension by showing a banner with an insulting message aimed at the Brazilian.
