With Hazard gone, there's a vacant number at Stamford Bridge.

Since Eden Hazard's departure from Chelsea, many have pondered who will be the Belgian's replacement. While it is yet to be seen who will fill his shoes, it has been revealed who will inherit his number 10 jersey.

Christian Pulisic was one of a few names tipped to wear that jersey but despite being hyped as the man to lead the Blues' attack next season, he is yet to get an official number. Callum Hudson-Odoi, the starlet who appeared destined to leave during Sarri's short reign, has also been mentioned but the Englishman also looks set to miss out.

The man to wear Chelsea's number 10 jersey will be none other than Willian. The Brazilian confirmed that the club offered it to him after bidding farewell to Hazard, adding that he will accept it. He told Brazilian TV show Desimpedidos (as per the Metro):

"I was offered the number 10 jersey ahead of next season and I will take it."

This comes after Willian's Copa America success with Brazil in which he wore the number 10 jersey for the Selecao in Neymar's absence. He's currently enjoying a holiday in his home country ahead of his return to Chelsea.

The South American attacker had been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge last season but the odds of him leaving are now all but gone. With no high-profile attacker arriving at Chelsea over the summer, Lampard will likely look to Willian to spearhead his attack next season.
