EURO 2020 Qualifiers: Where to watch England vs Czech Republic on March 22

Current Form: England vs Czech Republic

Presently ranked fifth in the world after their impressive run at last summer's World Cup, England will surely be fancying their chances against the Czech Republic when they open their EURO 2020 qualifying campaign. The Three Lions beat both Spain and Croatia during the Nations League tournament rounds and will be one of four sides participating in the finals this June.

Overall, Gareth Southgate's side will earn a play-off spot in EURO 2020 regardless of how they fare during the group stage of qualifying but certainly given that they hae been given an easy group with Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Montenegro and Kosovo for company, they will look to top their group without much fuss to ensure they feature at the EURO tournament next summer.

The hosts have picked up four wins and a draw from their last five games and haven't lost at Wembley in nearly three years, with Spain being the last visiting side to depart London with a victory. Meanwhile, visiting side Czech Republic will be looking to pick up back to back wins on the road for the first time since November 2017. They ended 2018 with narrow 1-0 wins over Robert Lewandowski's Poland and Marek Hamsik's Slovakia, but England are naturally expected to present a much sterner challenge than their fellow Eastern European opponents.

Head to head: England vs Czech Republic

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides and the first clash featuring England and Czech Republic since a friendly encounter in August 2008 that finished as a 2-2 draw. Prior to this, the two sides also locked horns in November 1998, also at Wembley, during which the Three Lions won 2-0 in another friendly.
