USL Cup Playoffs to be aired on ESPN+ digital platform and ESPN2 on TV in the USA.

The 2018 USL Cup Playoffs officially commence on Friday night in the Western Conference when No. 3 seed Phoenix Rising FC plays host to No. 6-seed the Portland Timbers 2 at the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex. This follows the conclusion of the regular season in the USL over the weekend where the final four spots in the playoffs were claimed in dramatic fashion.

Nashville SC and Bethlehem Steel FC secured the two spots in the Eastern Conference after clinching respective wins over Ottawa Fury FC and North Carolina FC. Nashville SC will begin their quest in the playoffs with a tough test against 2018's USL Regular Season champion FC Cincinnati. The match kicks off on Saturday afternoon inside the Nippert Stadium.

On the other hand, Bethlehem Steel FC will visit Highmark Stadium in Pennsylvania to take on rivals Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC who was seeded in No. 3 in the Eastern Conference.

For the Western Conference, the remaining two spots were sealed by first-timers Saint Louis FC and Western Conference champion Swope Park Rangers. The pair will begin their play-off campaign against Orange County SC and Sacramento Republic FC at the Champions Soccer Stadium and the Papa Murphy's Park respectively.

Also on the play-offs roster is Phoenix Rising FC vs Portland Timbers, Louisville City FC vs Indy Eleven, and Charleston Battery vs New York Red Bulls II. Details of the games and the other matches can be seen here.

The 2018 USL Cup Playoffs will be conducted as a single-elimination, fixed-bracket tournament with the higher seed playing host in each round through the Eastern Conference and Western Conference Final. The cup tournament itself will be held at the venue of the conference champion with the superior regular season record on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET, with the game to be aired on ESPN2.
