The Norwegian coach did not hold back when asked about the out-of-favor footballer, currently on loan at Inter Milan.

If you were among those who thought that Alexis Sánchez had played his final game for Manchester United, then you need to read this.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the League Cup clash against Manchester City, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ruled out the possibility of signing more players during the winter. Moreover, the Norwegian tactician discussed details about Alexis Sánchez's future with the club, stating that he will return from his Italian adventure with Inter next summer.

"Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong," Solskjaer briefly said.

The Chilean footballer has only been able to play 214 minutes since he left Old Trafford on loan. With that in mind, the English side believes that Inter will not be interested in making their current loan deal permanent, and Solskjaer would be glad to welcome the Copa América winner back...if he stays as boss.

Once the Chilean ace's future was sorted out, Solskjaer ruled out the possibility of adding new players to his roster, mainly because the options out there are not as interesting as some might think.

"I can't remember how many good ones we've brought in as good deals in January. Henrik Larsson was good, Nemanja (Vidic) and Patrice (Evra), I'm talking about it's hard, very hard, the clubs don't want to lose their best players," Solskjaer added.

So, do you believe Alexis Sánchez should be given a second chance at Old Trafford? Only time will tell if Inter, or Manchester United's hierarchy, have a say on that matter.
