Arsenal and Chelsea locked horns in a highly-anticipated FA Women's Super League on Sunday and what a weekend London Derby that encounter turned out to be.
The north London giants hosted the Blues and despite heading into this tie as the league leaders and boasting the home advantage, Miedema and Co. were schooled by their rivals.
Arsenal had won all but one of their previous 12 games in the league and had never conceded first. Against Chelsea, they were 3-0 down after only 20 minutes. Come the 68th minute, the visitors were 4-0 up, conceding a consolidation goal in the 74th minute to make it 4-1.
Four different players got their names on the scoresheet, including Bethany England and Sam Kerr. The Australian superstar netted for her new employers for the first time in the league, proving that she is a big-game player.

This reminds me of that Rapinoe to Wambach goal in the 2011 WWC USA v Brazil quarterfinal game https://t.co/ihyXECeyW1
However, the best goal of the game was scored by Sophie Ingle. Her 20th-minute cracker left everyone stunned, including her own manager. Check out her stunner in the tweet below.
Stop it, @SophieIngle01!

As for Miedema, she endured a frustrating match. For the second time in a row, the Dutch goalscoring machine drew blanks against Chelsea and thus was on the receiving end of trolls and heavy criticism for failing to show up in a huge fixture. Check out the best tweets below.
Miedema didn't even show, Fraud

bethany england: 4
sam kerr: 1
viv miedema: 0
Another invisible game for Miedema against Chelsea. Twice this season. "Best" players have to turn up in the big games, not just score 5 against bottom table teams. She's no Kerr, who scored against everyone in NWSL. Nor is she England, tbh.

Arsenal's Dutch hitwoman is the leading scorer in the Women's Super League with 14 goals in 12 apps this season. However, Miedema is yet to find the back of the net in 2020.
This is worrying as Arsenal next three opponents in the league are Man City (the current leaders), Tottenham, and Liverpool. Furthermore, the Gunners will have to face a rampant PSG side in the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-finals in late March.
@grimptinho PSG won 11-0 yesterday Miedema is loosing 1-4 to Chelsea today someone is definitely not ready for the UCL
