The Special One was not satisfied with the end result in his return to his former club's stadium.

Jose Mourinho suffered his first loss as Tottenham's boss, but he was not ready to leave Old Trafford without taking a slight dig at his former club.

Speaking right after the game, Mourinho admitted that the outcome of the game did not surprise him one bit, but when he went on further to tell why, he ended up landing a couple of blows against his former team and their coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

"United results against the best teams this season have been good. Chelsea,Liverpool,Leicester. For the way they play it is easier for them. They are not afraid to have a defensive approach," Mourinho said.

Marcus Rashford scored both goals for Manchester United, while Dele Alli equalized momentarily for Spurs. Even so, Mourinho believes that Tottenham had more control of the game according to what the numbers show.

"It is easier for them against better teams, against teams who want more of the ball,"Mourinho added.

Both teams will have little time to recover, as Spurs are set to host Burnley next Saturday. Meanwhile, Manchester United will have to worry about facing Manchester City, in what could surely become a turning point for them this season.
