After just a bit over 18 months, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave the MLS to embark on a new adventure in the world of football.
The Swedish ace will not extend his contract with the LA Galaxy, which is set to end next month. Not only that, but he has already stepped up to let the world know that he is ready for a new challenge. But in order to do that, he needed to say goodbye in true Zlatan-esque fashion.
The former Barcelona and Inter striker referred to one of America's favorite past-times to say goodbye to the country he called home for two seasons, while also thanking the league for helping him find the much-needed hunger to carry on as a professional footballer.
I came, I saw, I conquered. Thank you @lagalaxy for making me feel alive again. To the Galaxy fans - you wanted Zlatan, I gave you Zlatan. You are welcome. The story continues...Now go back to watch baseball pic.twitter.com/kkL6B6dJBr

The LA Galaxy proceeded to thank the footballer for his efforts with one video showing his highlights while playing in the North American League.
We wanted Zlatan. We got Zlatan.

Ibrahimovic seems set to continue his playing career in Italy, where Napoli and Bologna have been named as his potential destinations. We are sure that the "Lion" will keep roaring wherever he goes, all we have to do is wait and see where he chooses to continue playing.
