The French tactician discussed a variety of topics, including the fate of some of his players and the reasons why he left the team's camp on Monday

Zinedine Zidane is not done with his massive overhaul at Real Madrid. The French boss did not shy away from this subject during the pre-match press conference for the game between Los Blancos and Bayern München.

It was Zidane's first appearance in front of a camera for quite a while, and the former Ballon D'Or winner tackled all subjects with the same class and elegance he used to play with.

Zidane was asked about the possible exits, which may have difficulted the team's recent transfer activity. Calm as always, Zizou has admitted that all of his players are aware of what fate holds in store for them.

"We have to respect everyone. We spoke to the club, we discussed what we need, and up to the last day, there can be changes. I'm excited to work with all the players we have right now, but we will have to let some of them go. It's hard, but it will make things easier for us. I have never hidden anything from my players," Zidane said.

The 1998 World Cup winner referred to Gareth Bale's situation and hinted that, if things don't change, he will be given a fighting chance to play.

"He is not a problem, I'll never say that. He's under contract and we'll see. Nothing has changed with Bale since June. He has all my respect after watching his commitment to our training sessions. We will see what happens," Zidane stated.

Then, Zidane changed the tone of the presser by discussing Paul Pogba's situation. While Real Madrid seems ready to pull the plug on the attempt to sign him, Zizou does not seem to be ready to let it go.

"I may seem a bit dumb, but I have to give the same answer: the club knows what we want. There's time left to make it happen. Right now, we're concentrated in playing these games, we'll have to wait and see what happens," the French boss said.

The French tactician was grateful for the support messages he received after his brother's death on Monday, which forced him to leave the team's camp.
