Ernesto Valverde's side has a wishlist featuring the name of the likely successor for the Uruguayan forward.

Spanish giants Barcelona has reportedly shortlisted three names as in its pursuit for the possible replacement for aging striker Luis Suarez. The list is said to include Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic and Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann.

At 32, Luis Suarez has excelled alongside Lionel Messi in the attack for the Blaugrana in the ongoing campaign, registering 21 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions. With his help, the Catalans are in the running for the treble this season. However, the Uruguayan – who moved to La Liga from Liverpool in 2014 – is rapidly nearing the end of his career at the top level and, as a result, the Camp Nou outfit is in search of his like-for-like replacement.

One such player earmarked by Barca is Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. Having been linked to both Real Madrid and Barcelona last year as a result of limited playing time at Manchester United, rumors of the youngster's probable departure has died down following the arrival of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 21-year-old Englishman who has in recent times been restored to his favored center-forward position has experienced a massive improvement in form, ranking among the top three goalscorers under the Red Devils' caretaker boss. Despite the latest speculations, UK tabloid Express has reported that Rashford is in line for a new long-term contract. As per Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona still maintains a keen interest in the striker's signing.

The media outlet further added that the La Liga leaders are monitoring the situation of Antoine Griezmann at Atletico Madrid. The 28-year-old Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou last season but made a U-turn on joining the Catalans by committing his future to Diego Simeone's side.

However, the tables have seemingly turned and the ex-Real Sociedad star is said to be weighing up his options for the summer following Atletico's elimination from the Champions League at hands of Juventus.

According to Mundo Deportivo, a move for Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic may reportedly be on the cards for Barcelona. The Polish striker has drawn keen interest from a host of top European club with his efficiency in front of goal which has earned him 22 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions.
