AC Milan will look to keep their unbeaten run in Serie A going when they travel to Bologna on Saturday.

The story so far

AC Milan travels to Bologna this weekend as they look to recover psychologically from a difficult midweek Champions League match against FC Porto. The Rossoneri are still missing a number of players, with injuries complicating the club's charge to secure a first league title in over a decade. On Saturday, the San Siro side will be poised to keep their unbeaten run in the league going, having registered seven wins and a draw. They go into the game on the back of a 3-2 win over Hellas Verona, a game in which Stefano Pioli's men had to fight back from two goals down.

For the host, they will be eager to extend their own unbeaten run to three as they set their eyes on putting together a consistently good run. They come into Saturday's game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Udinese after beating Lazio 3-0 in their previous encounter. While many will expect this run of form to run through for Siniša Mihajlović's men, that has not been the case as prior to their last two outings, they had gone on a three-game winless run. In a broader perspective, they only lost three of their last 10 matches, with four ending in wins and the remaining three being draws.
