The current top teams in the Primeira Liga will lock horns with a spot in the final on their minds. Follow this clash with our detailed guide.

One more clash between two of Portugal's "Big Three" will take place this week, as Sporting take on Porto for a spot in the 2020-21 Taça da Liga final set to be played this Saturday.

The Green and white side got to this game after defeating Mafra 2-0 back in December, while the defending Primeira Liga champions made it to the final four teams with a 2-1 win over Paços de Ferreira. This will be the first Taça da Liga meeting between these teams since the 2018-19 final which was won by Sporting from the penalty spot.

Sporting get to this game after two straight games without a win. First, the green and white side lost to Maritimo in the Portuguese Cup, which was followed by a one-all draw against Rio Ave last weekend. On the other hand, Porto saw their winning streak come to an end as Benfica held them to a 1-1 draw on Friday's O Classico.

This game will see both sides trying to reach their fifth Taça da Liga final. Out of their previous four attempts, Sporting have claimed the title twice. Meanwhile, Porto are yet looking for their first title in this competition after four losses in the title clash, with the last two of those taking place in the past couple of years.
