The Gabonese striker secured another milestone in his side's big win over the Canaries.

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made history once again with his goal contribution in Wednesday's Premier League win over Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium. The 31-year-old struck twice as the Gunners run away with a 4-0 victory over the Canaries.

A goalkeeping mistake by Tim Krul in the 31st minute allowed the former Borussia Dortmund star to score the opener before assisting Granit Xhaka to get the game's second six minutes later. 12 minutes after play resumed in the second half, the Arsenal skipper grabbed the game's third before Cedric Soares put the last nail in the coffin by scoring in the 81st minute.

In retrospect, Aubameyang's goal took his Premier League tally for the Emirates outfits to 51 in 79 appearances. This makes the Gabon international the fastest player in the history of the Gunners to score half-a-century of goals in the league. The record was previously held by Thierry Henry who achieved the feat in 83 appearances.
