Chelsea have unveiled their new home kit for the 2020/21 season, which will be unveiled in Wednesday's Premier League clash with West Ham. The recently-released jersey, which will only be available to buy from the online store from July 9, features new kit sponsor Three UK, a British telecommunications and internet service provider.
The Blues deal with previous sponsor Yokohama Tyres was set to expire at the end of the 2019/20 season but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent suspension of football, the London giants' contractual relation with the Japanese company came to an end on Tuesday. As a result, their deal with Three UK has kicked in, meaning the club will be wearing the new look for the remainder of the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League seasons.
The jersey, which "brings a touch of Savile Row to Stamford Bridge by blending the latest in athletic innovation with the finesse of fine London tailoring", features "subtle all-over herringbone knit" as well as bespoke flourishes. The collar and sleeves feature dark blue trims which are monogrammed with "CFC".

Homegrown starlet Tammy Abraham gave the new look his seal of approval, agreeing with Chelsea's claim of being the most stylish club in London. Speaking via the club's official website, the Englishman said:
"The kit is really, really smart – very Chelsea. You can see the story behind the kit with how it looks and all the little touches that remind you of a good suit. I think we will certainly be the best dressed team next season."
Fran Kirby, the English striker for FA Women's Super League Champions Chelsea, also praised the fresh design. The forward expressed joy over the prospect of donning this exquisite kit, which has features the phrase "Pride of London" down the sides of the torso, next season.

"I'm really excited to be wearing this kit when we take to the pitch again for the 20/21 season," Fran Kirby said. "Winning the WSL was an incredible moment for the club and we'll be proud to be wearing the new kit as champions next season."
The Blues will debut their new look today in the clash against West Ham. Due to Man United's win over Brighton on Tuesday, Lampard's men boast a mere two-point advantage in the race to qualify for the Champions League. It should be pointed out that they could reinstate a five-point lead over the fifth-placed Red Devils if they beat the Hammers.
