Jose Mourinho may have already been appointed as Tottenham's new coach, but one of the team's leaders has had his say on Pochettino's sacking.
Harry Kane took it to social media to discuss Pochettino's dismissal from the club, and he did so in endearing terms. The striker praised his boss for the trust he showed him during their time together, and he even calls the Argentine "a friend".
Here's Kane's emotional post saying goodbye to Pochettino.
Gaffer. I'll be forever thankful to you for helping me achieve my dreams. We've had some amazing moments in the last 5 and a half years that I will never forget. You were my manager but my friend as well and I thank you for that relationship. Good luck with your next chapter! pic.twitter.com/u64RXV7wd4

Curiously, not all players issued statements on social media to part ways with their boss, which seems to be an indication of how things were between the Argentine and some of his former pupils. Be that as it may, Pochettino may not last long in the list of unemployed managers, as two clubs have already entered negotiations to sign him.
