Chelsea vs Newcastle: Preview, match facts, broadcast listings - October 19

Preview: Chelsea vs Newcastle United

Since losing to Liverpool, Chelsea have picked up back to back wins in the Premier League as the Blues are now battling to break in to the top four. Frank Lampard's side will hope that the latest international break will not have interrupted their stride as they prepare to host floundering Newcastle United. Overall, they've earned four wins from their last four games, including picking up a victory against Lille in the Champions League, and finally earned their first clean sheet by holding Brighton at bay in their last game before the international hiatus.

Newcastle, meanwhile, ended their winless run thanks to a stunning 1-0 win over Manchester United, which has helped them rise out of the bottom three. However, the visitors are still just barely hovering outside the drop zone and have failed to win thier last seven trips to Stamford Bridge.
