Zinedine Zidane has given his blessing to pursue the signing of his two compatriots.

At long last, Zinedine Zidane has agreed to boost his team without the need to sign Paul Pogba, as two of his compatriots seem to be on top of his wishlist for the upcoming transfer windows.

According to a report by The Mirror, the former midfielder is keen to add two more players to his squad, with the intent of rejuvenating an ageing squad.

The two players mentioned in the Mirror's report are Kylian Mbappé and N'Golo Kanté. The midfielder is set to arrive in 2020, while Los Blancos may have to wait a bit longer to sign the striker, who's contract with PSG ends in 2021.

Kanté is seen by many as the natural replacement for Casemiro, and he comes highly recommended by his former Chelsea team-mates, Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard. As for Mbappé, the desire to hire him comes directly from Zidane, with Florentino Pérez also being obsessed to sign the footballer.

The Spanish capital giants are expected to splash the cash to sign these players. In fact, the possible bid for Kanté would see Los Blancos handing in a $100M bid plus one player, which would be none other than James Rodríguez.

This would not be the only signings by Real Madrid in 2020 -or 2021-, as Christian Eriksen is expected to sign a deal with Los Blancos this winter. Eriksen is seen by many at the Bernabeu as Modric's natural replacement, and his playmaking skills will come in handy this season, given the short amount of players Los Blancos have in that area of the pitch.
