The Welsh ace did not discuss any details about his future, which seems to be far away from Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale does not seem to be enjoying life in Madrid right now, and his recent appearance in a film by BT Sport Films called "State of Play" gives us a never-before seen side of Bale, who complains about the calamities of being a football player.

In the film, which never discusses the player's immediate future, Gareth Bale starts by looking back at his years when he played football with his friends, and how things changed for the worst when he became a professional footballer.

"When you're a kid, there's hardly a thought in your mind. You can enjoy the game with your friends, laugh. When you go pro, there are all types of pressures and criticism, which make that feeling go away," Bale said.

But the footballer does not stop there, as he also has something to say about how a player needs to follow orders whenever he is part of a professional team.

"Football makes you a robot. You can't choose your tournaments like golfers or tennis players do. You can't choose what to do and when to do it. You get told where to be, at what time you need to eat, and when to train. It's like if you lost control of your life somehow," Bale added.

The player, who seems to be living his final days as a Real Madrid, did find a silver lining about beinf a professional football player.

"A player's career is so short that, if you play your cards right, you only have to make certain sacrifices for a short period of time," Bale concluded.

The Welshman's future will surely be one of the transfer stories of the summer, since his coach has made it abundantly clear that he is not willing to have Bale around next season.
