The Uruguayan ace picked up a knock in Sunday's 4-1 win and was thus unable to complete the game.

It was a wonderful performance for Luis Suarez, but an awful ending for the Uruguayan in the 4-1 win over Real Betis. The striker had been crucial to Barcelona in their recent victory in La Liga, but his night, unfortunately, ended in an injury.

While Messi stole the spotlight with his hat-trick, Suarez scored an amazing solo goal after beautifully setting up Leo for his second goal of the night. Unfortunately, the 32-year-old was forced to leave the pitch in the 90th minute after picking up a knock.

It was revealed that Suarez sprained his ankle in Sunday's victory. This raised fears over the Uruguayan's availability for the trip to Man United, as many were concerned that the Suarez would join Dembele, who is out with a hamstring injury, on the sidelines for the Old Trafford visit.

However, Barcelona soon confirmed the forward's expected layoff. The club revealed via an official statement that he will be out for 10 to 15 days, which means he should be back shortly after the international break ends.

The Catalan giant will be paying the Red Devils a visit on April 10 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final match-up before facing off at Camp Nou only six days later. Dembele will miss both legs which means Valverde cannot afford to lose another key attacker.

As for the league, the reigning champion has established a 10-point lead at the top. This should be a comfortable cushion for Barcelona ahead of their next two crucial games -- a Catalan Derby with Espanyol and trip to Villarreal -- should Suarez be rested.
