A spokesman of the Saudi Arabian royal family discussed details regarding the visit of Man United execs to the Arab country.

Manchester United fans were shocked to learn that Saudi Arabian Prince Mohammed Bin Salman was allegedly ready to buy the club for over $3.8B, as reported on Sunday by The Sun.

In the last 24 hours, a spokesman for the Saudi Arabian Royal family has stepped up to deny these claims on behalf of Bin Salman. The source reveals that Manchester United execs did hold a meeting with the Public Investment fund from that country, but no meeting was held between the Prince and Man United's bosses.

The Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has not shared any details about the meeting between their execs and Manchester United.

The possibility of having bin Salman as the club's new owner sparked outrage among Manchester United fans on social media, since they believed that copying the business methods of bitter rivals Manchester City would be a betrayal of the Red Devils' legacy.
