FIFA+ is an OTT streaming platform operated by world football’s governing body FIFA. The platform was rolled out in 2022 as a free streaming service focused on original content, archives, and live matches. At the time of its launch, FIFA announced that it would air well over 1,000 live football matches per month on the service, with the goal of scaling to stream 40,000 live matches by the end of that year. A few months after its launch, FIFA+ adopted more languages to cater to its international audience—including French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, in addition to English. Streams on FIFA+ consist of live games from leagues around the world, classic FIFA World Cup moments, historical international matches, original shows, exclusive documentaries, breaking news, highlights, and more.
FIFA+ dedicates a considerable part of its catalog to women’s matches. Some of the programming on the platform is restricted based on the location of users. FIFA+ can be accessed online on computers, as well as via mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
