Inter and Juventus will lock horns in the latest installment of the highly-anticipated Derby d'Italia on Sunday, October 24th.

Preview: Inter vs Juventus

Fresh off a confidence boosting and well-deserved 3-1 win in their midweek Champions League tie, with goals from Edin Dzeko, Arturo Vidal, and Stefan de Vrij. Inter will now turn their attention towards welcoming a very familiar opponent: Juventus. The Nerazzurri now have four points in their Champions League group following their victory over Eastern European outfit Sheriff, and while they still have some work to do in order to break into the top two, they've put themselves in good stead to make up some of that lost ground over the course of the next three matches.

It was also the result Simone Inzaghi needed after seeing his team lose by that same score-line to his former side, Lazio, last weekend. Currently in third spot, the reigning Scudetto champions are seven points behind league leaders Napoli, who will be facing Roma in another big clash this weekend. Their recent loss is their first so far in Serie A this season, and it's safe to say they'll be super keen on getting back to winning ways as they take on the Bianconeri in Sunday evening's big clash.

Like Inter, Juventus also come into this match having enjoyed success in their midweek Champions League tie. A goal from young striker Dejan Kulusevski was enough to give Massimiliano Allegri's side all three points, and more important, pretty much puts Juventus in good position to secure a spot in the round of 16. Notably, the Bianconeri haven't conceded a single goal so far in their Champions League campaign following 3-0 and 1-0 wins over Malmo and Chelsea respectively.

Domestically, Juventus did have a rough start to the season, but they have since recovered and have won their last four consecutive matches. That includes a 1-0 win over Roma last weekend and as a result of this positive run, La Vecchia Signora have gone from hovering around the relegation spots to within touching distance of the top four.

Team news: Inter vs Juventus

Inter: The Nerazzurri have largely a full-strength squad, with only Christian Eriksen (heart condition) and Gabriel Brazão (knee injury) remaining still out.

Juventus: Like Inter, Juventus don't have a long absentee list. So far, only Adrien Rabiot (COVID-19) and more recently, Paulo Dybala (muscular issue) could end up missing out here.
